Regency Hampers
Regency Hampers, the Cheltenham based luxury food hamper specialist, have a large seasonal peak every Christmas. With late deliveries being in the news during the Christmas build up, Regency were able to maintain its 99.9% successful delivery schedules.
Regency Hampers are an online trader and rely on their complex web based back-office systems, developed and maintained by us, for their successful operation. The web system organises stock control, delivery schedules and the release of hampers from the distribution centre.
With a substantial part of the turnover being generated at Christmas, it is imperative that we are on-hand support them during this busy period. As many of the hampers include perishable food elements it is imperative that the hampers are scheduled for delivery that meets the customers requirements but also minimises transit time with the courier, so the produce arrives in first class condition.
We added a number of developments to the e-commerce website prior to the Christmas season including a sophisticated fraud control module, as with hampers costing over £100 the need to reduce exposure to deception is imperative.
